2026-2027 | STG Young Ambassadors
STG Young Ambassadors is a cohort of artistic individuals representing STG in the Seattle arts community who will get a behind-the-scenes experience at STG in preparation for careers in the arts. The STG Young Ambassadors mission is to diversify the pool of applicants for arts industry jobs by providing equitable access to work experience.


Seattle Theatre Group (STG) is a non-profit arts organization that stewards the Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatres, & 5th Avenue Theatres. As well as Kerry Hall, and Remlinger Farms Outdoor Concert Venue in Carnation, WA.


Who can apply:
18-21 year-olds interested in the arts

Program dates:
October 2026 - June 2027

As an STG Young Ambassador, you will:
  • Connect with professionals and artists in the Seattle arts community
  • Gain knowledge of STG Education and Community programs
  • Represent STG at shows and events
  • Access STG Internships
  • Assist at various STG events
  • Gain a better understanding of how a large arts organization operates
  • Connect with other young leaders in the arts
  • Gain leadership skills necessary to navigate the arts and professional world
STG will provide:
  • $810 work stipend
  • $10 Starbucks gift card at each meeting
  • Free garage parking
  • Tickets to STG shows upon availability
  • Recommendation letters and references

IMPORTANT DATES:
Extended Deadline to apply: September 4th, 2026
Final applicants chosen:  September 25th, 2026
COMMITMENT TO THE PROGRAM + EXPECTATIONS
Before applying, please make sure you can commit to the following meetings and cohort dates/experiences. Young Ambassadors are expected to work 5hrs/month, anything exceeding this time is not required.

MANDATORY MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm at Kerry Hall
During Tuesdays of every Month 
October – 13th, 2026 
November – 10th, 2026
December – 8th, 2026 
January – 12th, 2027
February – 9th, 2027 
March – 9th, 2027 
April – 13th, 2027 
May – 11th, 2027 
June – 8th, 2027 
COHORT EXPERIENCES + WORKSHOPS: all in Downtown Seattle, free parking for all events
Must attend at least FIVE (*=required)

Experience + Workshop dates are subject to change. As we get a sense of interests within the cohort we will expand the list of opportunities available - this does not require a bigger commitment but will allow for more freedom to make the experience your own.

Conflicts are a conversation, not a make or break factor.
