YOUTH MUSICAL THEATRE
Steps that delight, dance breaks that dazzle, and physical storytelling that moves–dance in musical theatre can inspire, entertain, and compel. Join Gregory Award winning choreographer and director, Katy Tabb, in this series aimed at not only improving your dance technique, but also diving into the joy of embodying character in your dancing. Each week will involve a full body warm up and tailored exercises aimed at honing your dance technique as well as exploration of choreography from a variety of musicals such as Mamma Mia, Newsies, and Legally Blonde. Katy will share valuable advice not only from her experience as a performer, but also from her perspective as a choreographer and director in this fun-filled class!
